Wadsworth -

Dorothy Fern Welday passed away at Altercare of Wadsworth on Sunday, October 14th, 2012. She was born on November 4th, 1914 in Plainview, TX to the late John S. and Bertha Snyder. She moved to Wadsworth and spent the rest of her life in the Wadsworth area. She was a lifelong member of First Mennonite Church in Wadsworth. Mrs. Welday was preceded in death by her husband Russell "Bus" Welday on March 2, 1991.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jan and Tony LoGuidice along with her grandchildren Jeff (Trisha) LoGuidice, Juli (Eric) Kernodle and great grandchildren Jacob, Rebecca and Olivia LoGuidice and Owen Kernoodle. There are her brother Donald (Louise) Snyder, sister Joann Lehman Niece Dee Franks and nephews Skip (Helen) Devoe and Tom Devoe.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family. She taught many things such as caring, loving and a patient belief in a loving God.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday with Pastor Rachel Siemans officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
