Myrna E. Hartman, 94, passed away at Summa of Western Reserve Hospital, April 5 after a short illness. She was born in Rittman, OH on February 25, 1916, lived in New Martinsville, WV, and resided in Wadsworth, OH for most of her life.
Mrs. Hartman was retired from the Wadsworth City School System where she worked in the school cafeteria. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the Order of the Eastern Star since 1946. She enjoyed reading, handwork, and music, but her passion was square dancing and round dancing, which she enjoyed well into her 80's, here and in Florida.
She was preceded in death by husband Lloyd. She is survived by daughter Jane Wright of Akron, dear friend Francis Cooper, 2 nieces, and 4 nephews.
There will be no viewing or calling hours. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth with Pastor Jackie McMillan officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM.
