Paul E. Hollingsworth, 61, born May 21, 1949, of Wadsworth went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul graduated from Garfield High School in 1967. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He enjoyed the area so much he continued to live in Germany after separation from the army. He was employed at Midwest Poly-Pak in Doylestown and at the Wadsworth Buehler's. Paul enjoyed golfing, bowling, and working in his yard.
He was preceded in death by his brother Les Hollingsworth. He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Kathy Hollingsworth (nee Dilbeck), his daughters; Danielle (Matt) Gaugler and Melissa Hollingsworth, his parents Mary and Gene Hollingsworth, sister Jody Hollingsworth, mother-in-law Phyllis Pander and grandson Connor Gaugler. He will also be missed by many dear family members and friends, and beloved pets Molly, Sausha and Zeus.
The family will receive friends Monday September 20, 2010 from 4-8PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio. Services will be conducted on Tuesday September 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Rd., Wadsworth with Pastor Robin L. Hart officiating.
