Vivian M. Bernhard, 81, of Sharon Twp. passed away Sunday September 27, 2009. Born October 27, 1927 in Akron, OH to the late John and Helen Bright. Mrs. Bernhard was a graduate of Akron West High School, a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Medina OES Chapter 266, the Bath Good Times Group. She enjoyed camping with the Barth Motor coach Group and the Ohio Nomads and was a former employee of the Kroger Co. and Renner's in Wadsworth. Mrs. Bernhard was preceded in death by three sisters Ellen Woolmington, Jean Hoffman and Connie (Phipps) Young. She is survived by her husband Calvin with whom she celebrated 44 years of marriage, brother in law and sister in law Phil and Pat Bernhard and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where Star services will be conducted at 7:30PM. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church, 6407 Ridge Rd., Sharon Center, OH with Pastor Tim McCollum officiating.
