Donald E. Raudabaugh, 84, of Wadsworth died Friday, January 1, 2010. Born March 21, 1925 in Celina, OH to the late Duard and Beryl Raudabaugh.
Mr. Raudabaugh was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where he was a former Deacon, former President of the Consistory, and was the former treasurer. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a graduate of Case University where he received a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering, and was retired from Ohio Brass after 42 years of service, having been Director of Research.
Don was preceded in death by brother William Raudabaugh.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage, son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Kathy Raudabaugh of Mentor, daughter and son-in-law Kay and Mark Wittorf of Columbia, SC, sister and brother-in-law Madonna and George Barr of Albuquerque, NM, brother Richard Raudabaugh of Zanesville, OH, and his grandchildren Brian Raudabaugh and Sean and Julia Wittorf.
The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth and from 12-1 PM Monday at Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High St. Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday with Rev. Daniel Doty officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
