Raymond R. Rose, 83, of Sharon Twp. died Tuesday March 16, 2010. He was born October 3, 1926 in Akron to the late Raymond P. and Mildred Rose, was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his wife Adria on December 16, 2007, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage and one brother Richard Rose.
Raymond is survived by one daughter Connie Hendrix of Sharon Center, one son and daughter in law Ray and April Rose of Portage Lakes, one granddaughter Sharon (John) Gezymalla of Sharon Center, one Grandson Ray Rose Jr. of Portage Lakes, one great granddaughter Jessica Gezymalla, his sister Zelda Radcliff of Georgia, his dear friends Jim and Judy Turney and his beloved dog Sadie.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth with Pastor Robin Hart officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Thursday
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors by the Wadsworth Honor Guard.
