Robert P. Secrist, 79, of Wadsworth, died suddenly July 9, 2013. He was born January 19, 1934 in Texas to the late Orson and Mary Secrist.

A longtime area resident, he was a librarian at Wadsworth Public Library for 15 years prior to becoming an avid antique dealer. In 1987 he founded Desperate Enterprises in Sharon Center and loved gardening and collecting.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, June; son Geoffrey Secrist of CA; daughter Linda (Dan) Hutchings of Sharon Center; grandchildren Brooke, Kristen and Michael and sister JoAnn Vining of Indiana.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be private. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
