Ruth A. Mansfield, 74, of Wadsworth passed away December 13, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born August 24, 1938 to the late August Bernard and Alice Elisabeth (nee Coles) Casper. She was preceded in death by her brothers Earl and Bobby Casper and her sister and friend Emma Welch.
She is survived by her children Bill (Suzanne) Barger, Rick (Teresa) Barger, Chris (Rosana) Barger, Jennifer (Bob) Pinchot and Richard (Tina) Mansfield; 12 loving grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; brothers Lawrence and Joseph (Judy) Casper; many nieces and nephews; and her loving friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Medina County for the wonderful care and compassion they showed our dear mother and for the ribbing we gave them on an hourly basis.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 17 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 18 at the Bognar Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, OH 44039 with Pastor Gary Oliver officiating. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to services from 12:00 - 1:00PM. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery Avon.
