Ellis Blamble, 79, of Wadsworth passed away December 10, 2017. He was born June 9, 1938 in Aurora, West Virginia to the late Elwood and Hazel Blamble.

He was an avid hunter and a skilled handyman and enjoyed tractor pulls. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose 2070, Eagles Aerie 2117, and Masonic Lodge 385, all of Wadsworth.

Ellis was preceded in death by his brothers Richard, Franklin, and Lewis, and an infant son, Michael Allen.

He is survived by his wife Bertha of 17 years; children Bryan and Jennifer Blamble; grandchildren Michael (Meghan), Matthew, and Anna Blamble; brother Everett (Shirley) Blamble; sisters Lucille Dodrill and Erma Blamble; stepson John (Kristy) Stamper; and step-grandchildren John Jr. and Dawn Stamper.

Family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 15 from 5-8pm and Saturday, Dec. 16 from 10-11am at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Winn officiating.
