Mary Jean (Molly) Sommer Allen, born December 6, 1923 in Anderson, IN to the late Eugene and Lucille (Steel) Fitzpatrick, died suddenly May 21 in Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Gretchen and Harry Martinson, her husbands Jack Sommer and Charles Bowen, and brother John Eugene (Sonny) Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her husband Joseph Allen, daughter and son-in-law Shelley and Jan Kraska, daughter Patty Sommer, grandchildren; Scott, Jason, Chad, Ryan, and Lucy and great-grandchildren; Molly, Myles, Miller, and Wesley.
She was very active in the Wadsworth community, especially in the Footlighters where she acted, directed and did choreography.
Molly was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday May 28 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, OH 44281.
