Rhonda R. Farner, 66, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, after a courageous 30-year battle with cancer. She was born October 17, 1946, in Akron to the late William and Muriel Ann (nee Battles) Parrish. Mrs. Farner was a graduate of Wadsworth High School, Class of 1964. She enjoyed reading, Ohio State tailgating, decorating, and travel. Rhonda was conscientious, dedicated, efficient, and devoted to supporting and caring for others. Over all things, she was most proud of her daughter and her beloved grandchildren. Rhonda is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Robert "Bob" Farner, with whom she celebrated over forty-five years of marriage, her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly "Kim" and Damon Wells of Arlington, VA, and her two grandchildren, Griffin and Cassidy Wells. Rhonda was adored by her siblings Laurie (Paul) Parrish-Storm of Wadsworth, Brian Parrish of Houston, TX, and her nephew, Bryce Storm of Cincinnati, OH. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, from 2-5 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM on Monday, March 25, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
