Daniel A. Mitzel, 63, of Wadsworth, OH passed away November 18, 2010. He was born September 1, 1947, to the late Edwin and Erla (Beal), in Akron, OH. Daniel was a US Navy Veteran, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Coventry-Akron Lodge #83 F&AM, The Valley of Akron, Tadmor Shrine, Yusef Khan Grotto and Legion of Honor. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Smith) of 41 years, sons Robert (Jennifer) Mitzel, Edwin (Peggy) Mitzel, and grandchildren Tasha, Davin, Kristen, Hartley, Noah, Kaylin, Paige and Robert.

The family will receive friends, Monday, November 22, 2010, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 4-8 PM. Masonic services will be Monday at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 23, at 10:00 AM. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Internment will be at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Meadowview Care Center.
