Linda B. Markley, 60, formerly of Wadsworth, more recently of Munroe Falls, went home to the Lord Tuesday, November 2, 2010. She was born February 3, 1950, in Wadsworth to June and the late Eugene Markley. Linda was a graduate of Wadsworth High School, was a U.S. Army veteran, received her law degree from Akron University, was licensed to practice law in three states, served as a defense attorney, as a prosecutor and most recently was a Professor at Kent State University. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Markley, sister Judy Markley, and Nancy Hanshaw. Linda is survived by her mother June Markley, brother Thomas Markley of Barberton, sister Betty Bise of Rittman, seven nephews and her dear friend Sara Rosone. The family will receive friends 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Wadsworth Honor Guard.
