Obituary
William E. “Bill” Hilton Jr., 88, of Seville passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. He was born May 4, 1927 in Wadsworth, OH to the late William E. Sr. and Flossie Hilton.
Mr. Hilton was a graduate of Wadsworth High School, a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of First Christian Church for over 60 years. He was retired from Ohio Brass and had also worked at Buehler’s in the Hardware Department and in the frame shop at the Wadsworth Ben Franklin Five and Dime. Bill and his wife Maribeth enjoyed many years of camping at Meadow Lake Park.
He was preceded in death by his sister Eileen Geiser Hartman and brothers Kenny and Ronald Hilton.
Bill is survived by his wife Maribeth with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage on September 12, 2014, his daughter and son-in-law Becky and Jason Bender of Wadsworth and sons William Hilton of Wadsworth and Bruce Hilton of Seville.
There are 6 granddaughters: Sarah (Mike) Patterson, Lori (Jeremy) Williams, Stacy (Chase) Riley, Heather (Johnmark) Ocheltree, Katie (Luke) Rogers and Haley Hilton, 8 great grandchildren: Averie, Cameron, Paige, Sydney, Cole, Kane, Mason and Cody, his sister Lena Mae Fulton and daughter-in-law Lori Hilton and special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5-8pm on Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00am Friday at First Christian Church 116 E. Boyer St. Wadsworth with Rev. James L. Singleton officiating. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
