Nancy Saunders, 60, of Wadsworth, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011. She was born on February 1, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, to Earnest and Pauline Seeling.
Nancy was the proud owner of Making Waves in Wadsworth, as she served as a hairdresser for 43 years. She was attending St. Paul Lutheran Church in Smithville, and was also a member of the NE Bottle Club, Tiger Networking, and the Empty Nesters. She enjoyed hairdressing, working in the yard, sewing, her bible study groups, and was also a certified medical assistant.
She was preceded in death by her sons Ryan Thomas Warner and Joao K. Herbert.
Nancy is survived by best friend Danny Kiefer, her parents, brothers and sisters-in-law Earnest (Vicki) Seeling Jr., Rick (Christine) Seeling, Gary (Debra) Seeling, daughter and son-in-law Erica (Jerry) Stephens, son Daniel F. Herbert, nieces and nephews Nicholas Seeling, Monica Seeling, Chad Seeling, Matt Seeling, Laura Bagosey, and Christy Seeling, as well as grandchildren Hoyte III, Jared, Kaitlyn, Tripp, and Ty.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 11 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where a memorial service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Pam Kelly officiating. Contributions can be made to the Medina County Hospice or the ALS Association of N.E. Ohio.
