Ruth L. Schneider, 91, of Wadsworth passed away Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born June 11, 1921 in Wadsworth to the late P.H. and Margaret Weinsheimer.
Ruth retired from Wadsworth City Schools and was an employee of the Seiberling Rubber Co. She was a lifelong member of First Mennonite Church, a graduate of Wadsworth High School and former member of Wadsworth FISH. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene, infant daughter Claudia Joen, brother Bill Weinsheimer and sister Mary Heyl.
Ruth is survived by daughter Laura Moss of Wadsworth, son Mark (Linda) Schneider of West Chester, beloved grandchildren Sarah (Mike Chapman) and Daniel (Jess Woodson) Moss, Jessica and Kenton Schneider, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. A celebration of life will be held at 4pm Friday at First Mennonite Church, 405 Trease Rd., Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church.
