Jed F. Slabaugh, 89, of Pinellas Park, Florida, formerly of Wadsworth, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Born February 10, 1920 in Poe, OH, to the late Joseph and Dorothy Slabaugh. Preceded in death by brothers Joseph, Albert, and Kenneth Slabaugh, and sisters X-Louise Aucker and Josephine Patterson.
Mr. Slabaugh is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jim and Debbie Slabaugh of Burbank, OH, and daughter Jennifer Slabaugh of Florida. There are 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his brothers Carol Slabaugh of River Styx and Keith Slabaugh of Florida, and several nieces and nephews also surviving.
The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday with Dr. Rick R. Fox officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
