Obituary
Lois I. (Bresson) Potts
After wanting for so many years to just “go home”, God finally called Lois I. Potts at age 97 to join Him in peace and love with her beloved husband, Bobbie. As a member of the Greatest Generation, Lois devoted much of her life to caring for and helping family and friends. She was known for spotting all the newcomers at Sunday mass to welcome them to Sacred Heart Church. She was a devoted wife and mother volunteering for all of “the Scouts”, room mother, seamstress and listening ear. As a member of Sacred Heart Church she belonged to Legion of Mary, taught CCD, was a reader at masses, and helped to design and make vestments and banners for the altar. She cherished the days of teaching sewing at Sacred Heart School. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Bobbie, and son, Ken (Debbie) Potts. She leaves daughters, Connie (Geoff) Coleman, and Betsy (Dennis) Conley; 4 grandchildren, Mary (Jeremy) Smith, Bobbie (Brandon) Grim, Brendan Morgan and Kristen (Brian) Ruffing;
4 great grandchildren, Adam, Ashton, Coen and Josie. The world was a wonderful place for all of us with her smile and laughter. Mass of Christian Burial will held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Catholic Charities were instrumental in helping Lois and Bob to realize their dream of having a larger family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Catholic Charities.
